Municipal Court

The Carbon Hill Municipal Court works alongside the Carbon Hill Police Department as well as the citizens of Carbon Hill to help keep the community safe. We strive to help those who have lost their way get back on the right path through rehabilitation and job programs.

​Hello, I’m Madison Gurganus! I have been the Magistrate for the Carbon Hill Municipal Court since the summer of 2022. I have called Carbon Hill home my entire life. I have been a public servant in Carbon Hill since 2014. I am a dedicated wife and mother. Watching my family grow in my home town motivates me to help our community thrive.
