My Story
Hello, I’m David Phillips, and I’m proud to serve as the Mayor of Carbon Hill, I’ve called Walker County home my entire life. After relocating to Carbon Hill in 2010 , I witnessed firsthand the strength and resilience of our community, which inspired my passion for public service. After years of working in volunteer fire and rescue, I felt called to give back by helping Carbon Hill grow and thrive while preserving the values that make it special. As mayor, my goal is to foster unity, create opportunities for our residents, and ensure that our small town continues to be a place we’re all proud to call home.
